The Lead Analyst partners closely with Product, Technology and Data teams to shape demand, prioritise work and ensure data solutions are adopted, trusted and aligned to value‑stream goals.

Your New Role

  • Identify, define and document non‑functional requirements.
  • Support Data Delivery Managers to shape and prioritise the value‑stream backlog (change and BAU), aligning scope, dependencies and sequencing to the roadmap.
  • Facilitate workshops to define processes, data flows, KPIs and controls, ensuring shared understanding across business, data and technology teams.
  • Maintain end‑to‑end traceability from business outcomes to data assets, in line with data governance, glossary and quality standards.
  • Standardise and improve Data & AI analysis artefacts (e.g., data dictionaries, source‑to‑target mappings, metrics definitions) to increase delivery speed and quality.
  • Identify and manage dependencies, risks and impacts related to requirements and delivery.
  • Coach and assure the quality of analysis across the team, raising the bar on outcome‑focused, data‑led ways of working.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Senior or Lead Business Analyst, ideally within data, analytics or technology environments.
  • Strong experience eliciting and documenting requirements for complex initiatives.
  • Ability to translate strategic objectives into practical, deliverable requirements.
  • Experience working within agile, devops or value‑stream‑based delivery models.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation and communication skills.
  • A structured, analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Empathetic approach to understanding and addressing customer needs.
  • Insurance industry experience is useful.
  • Comfortable working in fast‑paced, evolving environments with a capacity for managing ambiguity.
  • Capable of fostering a culture of learning and applying new insights.
