The Opportunity

We’re looking for a proactive IT Business Analyst to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of our operational and organisational design. Your New Role
As an IT Business Analyst, you’ll play a key role in analysing business needs, documenting requirements, and supporting testing processes to ensure successful delivery of operational initiatives – particularly within the People space.
- Deliver regular reporting and strategic analysis on business activities and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, industry codes, and internal policies.
- Review, develop, and manage process and policy improvements across the business unit.
- Solve business problems using qualitative and quantitative data to uncover root causes and drive improvements.
- Support the development and implementation of operational and organisational design.
- Help team members identify trends, draw conclusions, and make recommendations based on data.
- Train Business Sponsors and resources in Process Excellence (PE) principles.
Having the right to work in the UK is a requirement for this role. QBE may consider sponsorship at its discretion.
About you
- Relevant experience in a similar IT Business Analyst role.
- Strong data analysis and process mapping skills.
- Practical knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project environments.
- Experience using Jira for project management.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across teams.
- Background in People/HR systems or projects would be highly beneficial.
- Understanding of regulatory changes (e.g. EU pay transparency) and their impact on systems.
