The People Consultant will join our People Strategy and Transformation team to scope, define, and execute People-related Transformations, Projects and Programmes. This role is instrumental in delivering our People Strategy and realizing the long-term objectives of the International Division, ensuring initiatives are well conceived, stakeholder-oriented, and fully integrated into the organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and support Organisation Effectiveness (OD, People Change & Culture Change) plans and strategies for key stakeholder groups in partnership with various functions and project teams.
  • Determine potential impacts of Organisational Design and People/Culture Change on the business across processes, OD, data, systems, ways of working and skills, and evaluate risk factors.
  • Partner across the programme and stakeholder groups to assess readiness for change and iterate change plans as required.
  • Support the Head of People Consultancy in developing Organisation Effectiveness and People/Culture Change Management processes within People, ensuring alignment with wider QBE approaches.
  • Collaborate with Communications resources and the People Centres of Excellence to design and execute activities that support Organisation Effectiveness and People Change adoption across the business.
  • Work across People and the business to accelerate leadership role-modeling of changes.
  • Ensure all necessary supporting documentation for People transformation, project planning and implementation is fulfilled and progress can be tracked across multiple programmes.

Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of, and experience using, change and project management methodologies and tools.
  • Experience leading organisation effectiveness and change interventions in a dynamic, agile environment.
  • Proven strength in business partnering and stakeholder management at all levels.
  • Ability to support leaders and People Business Partners with organisational design and evolving operating models – from concept to implementation.
  • Ability to deliver programmes across a wide range of stakeholder groups.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities with time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Strong planning, organisational and project management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills, including conflict resolution.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong understanding of change management methodologies – ideally PROSCI certified.
