  • Managing the Reinsurance placement team and working with Portfolio Managers and Product Heads, ensuring strong performance, engagement and collaboration.
  • Acting as an escalation point for accurate and timely payment of premiums and collection of reinsurance recoveries and all reinsurance operational matters.
  • Preparing Board papers and supporting Group and regulatory returns.
  • Leading delivery of strategic projects, KPIs and performance management to support business and team objectives.

The right to work in the UK is a requirement for this role. QBE may consider sponsorship at its discretion.

  • Brings deep technical knowledge of insurance products, with a strong understanding of underwriting, claims and operational impacts.
  • Curious, hands-on and collaborative in style, aligning with the CUO leadership culture, working closely with teams and avoiding silos.
  • Commercially aware with a strong understanding of local markets and future growth opportunities, using insight to shape meaningful outcomes.
