Group Senior Reinsurance Analyst

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our team in a key role supporting the placement and implementation of our Group reinsurance programme. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a broad range of placements and collaborate with stakeholders across the business. Your new role

  • Support the placement and implementation of the Group’s reinsurance program, including those for the QBE Group Reinsurance Captives
  • Contribute to the analysis and preparation of reinsurance placement data ahead of renewals
  • Help ensure timely and accurate reporting by managing delivery schedules and coordinating deliverables
  • Maintain clear documentation, and up-to-date reinsurance schematics
  • Collaborate with stakeholders by attending meetings and providing updates on reinsurance matters
  • Clearly explain the reinsurance programme structure to the Divisions and the Captive
  • Provide expert support to the wider reinsurance team, sharing knowledge and insights as needed
  • Ensure timely delivery of accurate data to support reinsurance placement

About You

  • Proven experience in reinsurance, ideally with a focus on placement
  • Self-driven and confident producing high-quality work independently
  • Strong attention to detail with an analytical mindset
  • Highly organised and methodical, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Comfortable working with large and complex data sets
  • Clear and collaborative communicator, able to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders
