To manage accounting and reporting activities ensuring the accuracy and consistency of underlying data, and to liaise with external and internal customers to formulate and implement policy.
We are looking for a curious and detail-oriented individual to join our Planning and Performance team as a Business Performance Analyst. In this role you will support the delivery of data-driven insights to help shape strategic decisions across the business. You will thrive in this role if you enjoy uncovering trends and working with complex data. Your New Role
As part of a dynamic team, you’ll play a key role in supporting data validation, building and maintaining performance reports, analysing large datasets and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of monthly performance reports, dashboards and KPIs
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances and opportunities for improvement
- Assist with the accurate production of reports, accounts and management information
- Support the extraction, cleaning and manipulation of data from multiple sources to support business insights
- Contribute to the improvement of reporting processes and tools
- Support budgeting and forecasting cycles with data-driven inputs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
About You
- Sound experience working within a Finance role, gained in across any industry (e.g. FP&A, commercial finance, data analyst)
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and sound proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with planning tools, ideally Hyperion, and exposure to Oracle systems is desirable
- Proven ability to analyse complex data and translate it into actionable insights
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
