We are recruiting a Business Change Manager to join our well‑established Business Change Management team. Your role is pivotal in developing, implementing and executing appropriate change strategies to support the delivery and embedding of strategic transformational initiatives into the business. Your New Role
In this role you will proactively invest in your ongoing professional development, bringing new insights on change management methodologies, tools and industry best practice back into the team to help mature and continuously improve the Business Change Management function. As a strong relationship builder, you will actively collaborate with the wider Business Change team, contributing to a connected, high‑performing change community that strengthens our collective impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies for transformational initiatives, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, business subject matter experts and IT, to garner support and facilitate smooth transition through effective communication and engagement strategies.
- Conduct thorough change impact assessments to understand the implications of proposed changes on processes, systems and personnel.
- Develop detailed change plans and prepare business readiness strategies, considering risk management, resource allocation, timelines and communication to achieve successful implementation.
- Promote ownership and facilitate change by leveraging influence, relationships and negotiation, whilst establishing supportive change networks and coaching leaders in the effective use of change tools.
- Support the development and delivery of training programs to upskill teams and stakeholders in new practices, tools and processes.
- Establish metrics and mechanisms to monitor the effectiveness of changes implemented and gather feedback to continuously improve processes and strategies.
About you
- Qualified change management professional, ideally Prosci, APMG or equivalent, with a deep understanding of change management principles.
- Extensive experience working within Financial Services, Insurance exposure with an understanding of the Underwriting and Claims lifecycle is preferred.
- Significant experience working within both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments, supporting multi‑year change programs across different countries and cultures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high attention to detail, to create a shared vision and proactively drive outcomes within agreed deadlines.
- Ability to influence and persuade internal and external stakeholders with conflicting demands.
- Collaborative, pragmatic and organised, you are calm under pressure with the ability to break down complex problems and provide innovative solutions.
- Advanced risk and issue management experience and the ability to proactively communicate concerns to stakeholders with, and challenge, stakeholders where appropriate.
- Ability to work at pace independently, prioritise multiple tasks using tools and techniques to facilitate effective change adoption.
