The Role
We are seeking a sharp, driven Senior Site Manager to lead a prestigious, high-spec commercial fit-out project in the heart of London. This isn’t just a "standard office" job; we are delivering a luxury finish for a high-profile client.
As the "Number 1" on-site, you will be responsible for taking the project from its early stages through to a flawless handover. You’ll need a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage high-end subcontractors (joinery, glazing, M&E) to ensure they meet our exacting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Manage day-to-day site activities, ensuring the project remains on program.
- Quality Control: Rigorous oversight of high-spec finishes—"good enough" is not an option here.
- H&S Management: Maintaining a gold-standard site, including RAMS reviews, inductions, and strict CDM compliance.
- Subcontractor Coordination: Chairing weekly progress meetings and managing specialist trade interfaces.
- Reporting: Providing clear, concise daily logs and weekly progress reports to the Project Manager.
What You’ll Need
- Proven Experience: A strong track record in High-End Commercial Fit-Outs (Offices, Boutique Hotels, or Luxury Retail).
- Certifications: Valid SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, and First Aid at Work.
- The "Fit-Out Mindset": You understand the pace of London fit-out and know how to push a program without compromising the finish.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable using project management software (Procore, Field View, or similar).
