A leading principal contractor specialising in cladding remediation and regeneration projects is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-value projects across London and the Southeast, supporting the commercial delivery of projects from pre-construction through to final account.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all commercial aspects of construction projects to ensure profitability and successful delivery
  • Produce and manage cost plans, procurement schedules, CVRs, valuations, and cash flow forecasts
  • Procure subcontractors and materials in line with project budgets and programmes
  • Assess subcontractor quotations and negotiate packages
  • Prepare and issue subcontract orders and payment certificates
  • Identify, value, and manage contract variations
  • Produce and maintain draft final accounts
  • Work closely with Project Managers and Site Teams to support project delivery
  • Monitor project costs, commercial risks, and programme impacts
  • Ensure all commercial procedures and processes are followed correctly
  • Support and mentor junior team members where required
