We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Immigration Solicitor / Lawyer who has strong knowledge of UK immigration legislation and case law with a client-focussed approach. Working as an Immigration Solicitor / Lawyer you will play a key role in delivering expert legal advice and representation to clients navigating the UK’s complex immigration system. As the Immigration Solicitor / Lawyer you will manage your own caseload and be responsible for advising individuals and families on a variety of immigration matters, from visa applications to appeals and asylum claims.

Your duties as an Immigration Solicitor / Lawyer include:

  • Provide legal advice and representation on a wide range of immigration matters including entry clearance, leave to remain, ILR, nationality, asylum, and appeals
  • Prepare and submit applications to the Home Office and Tribunals
  • Liaise with clients, courts, and external agencies in a professional and timely manner
  • Maintain accurate case files and adhere to firm procedures and compliance requirements
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to business development initiatives.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Qualified Solicitor with previous experience in immigration law
  • Strong knowledge of UK immigration legislation and case law
  • Proven ability to manage a varied caseload independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A client-focused approach with a commitment to achieving the best outcomes
  • Accreditation under the Law Society’s Immigration & Asylum Accreditation Scheme (desirable)
