Based at London Waterside and reporting to the Manager Strategic Alliances, this role is central to driving value for the Qatar Joint Business (QJB) between Qatar Airways, British Airways and Iberia. You will operate at the heart of a fast‑moving partnership and engage with multiple departments and senior stakeholders across the partner airlines—including Alliances, Legal, Marketing, Network Planning, Revenue Management and Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and report on partnership performance and KPIs, identifying opportunities to expand network reach and strengthen QJB’s strategic position.
- Pinpoint top‑line and bottom‑line opportunities and lead implementation projects that deliver measurable value.
- Facilitate and contribute to internal and external meetings, workshops, and working groups.
- Support the planning and execution of all Alliance and Partnerships initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with relevant alliance and governance requirements.
- Manage ad‑hoc Alliance and Partnerships requests across functions such as PRM, Sales, Distribution, Network Planning, Marketing, Procurement, Technical, and Cargo.
- Assist the department head with performance tracking and strategic reporting as required.
- Drive timely delivery of all partnership projects through effective project tracking and coordination.
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong knowledge of commercial aviation, strategic planning and business management.
- Exceptional communication skills, ability to negotiate and influence at different levels.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to manipulate large volumes of data.
- Ability to produce impactful and management‑ready presentations in PowerPoint.
- Background in management consulting, advisory work or project management is an advantage.
- Fluency in English.
- Must hold the current legal right to live and work in the UK.
