đź About the Role
As a Logistics Solutions Engineer, youâll bridge the gap between our commercial and technical teams. Youâll deliver tailored demos, translate customer needs into actionable insights, and ensure prospects and customers see the full value of the Qargo platform.
This role combines customer-facing expertise with industry knowledge and technical problem-solving. Youâll collaborate closely with Business Development Managers, Product, and Engineering teams, shaping the way transport companies experience Qargo.
đ Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging technical demos and walkthroughs of the Qargo TMS platform.
- Tailor demo environments and solution configurations to accurately reflect customer workflows and operational requirements.
- Analyse customer needs and provide recommendations on product fit, integration requirements, and system usage.
- Support Business Development Managers with technical scoping and feasibility assessments.
- Translate customer requirements and sales conversations into structured technical feedback for Product and Engineering teams.
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of Qargoâs features, roadmap, integrations, and API capabilities.
- Assist in preparing technical proposals and detailed platform walkthrough documentation.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering and Customer Success teams to ensure customer requirements are understood and incorporated into product development.
- Provide input on improving demo tooling, training materials, and customer onboarding processes.
- Apply transport/logistics domain knowledge to guide customers on best practices.
- Stay informed about sector trends, regulatory requirements, and technology changes that affect customer needs.
â Requirements, Skills & Experience
- Based in the UK, fluent in English.
- Multiple years of relevant experience in a customerâfacing role (e.g., support, onboarding, consulting, preâsales, or similar).
- Experience in the transport or logistics sector is essential. Strong understanding of industry processes, workflows, and operational challenges.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with both technical and commercial audiences.
- A handsâon, analytical approach to problemâsolving.
- Experience with CRM systems (like HubSpot) and demo tooling.
- Experience in a SaaS environment is a strong advantage.
- Willing to travel occasionally for onâsite demos and customer meetings.
