Responsibilities
- Shape and execute sales and distribution strategy across the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa within a complex, highly regulated airline environment.
- Lead large, geographically dispersed sales and distribution teams to deliver sustained revenue growth, market share and disciplined execution.
- Drive revenue across corporate, trade, leisure and digital channels, translating Qantas's global commercial strategy into decisive inâmarket action, setting sales direction, maximising channel value and delivering growth in revenue, yield and market share.
- Build and lead powerful external partnerships while motivating highâperforming, geographically dispersed teams.
- Drive strong crossâfunctional alignment, disciplined execution and regulatory excellence, ensuring Qantas delivers a consistent regional presence and outstanding commercial outcomes.
Qualifications
- 10+ years' experience in senior commercial, sales or strategy roles within aviation or travel, leading multiâmarket international operations.
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Economics or equivalent experience.
- Proven leader of highâperforming, geographically dispersed and culturally diverse teams.
- Strong commercial acumen with deep expertise in pricing, dealing and dataâdriven decisionâmaking.
- Advanced capability in commercial analysis, translating complex insights into clear strategic action.
- Deep understanding of airline sales, retailing and distribution, including omnichannel and corporate markets.
- Highly credible external influencer with strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Extensive knowledge of the relevant UK, Europe and Middle Eastern airline markets, with exposure to African dynamics.
