The Role: You’ll join as one of our first engineers, helping to build and scale a next-generation platform powered by AI and event-driven architecture. You’ll work across our .NET backend and Next.js frontend, shaping the experience end-to-end, from design to deployment. We move fast, ship daily, and believe in ownership, autonomy, and smart iteration over bureaucracy.
You will:
- Build APIs and services in .NET 8+ (C#)
- Develop front-end experiences in Next.js + TypeScript
- Work within a modern Azure-based, serverless environment (Functions, Container Apps, Event Grid, Service Bus)
- Collaborate in a true DevOps culture - automate, monitor, and continuously improve
- Contribute ideas across architecture, performance, and developer experience
- Work with (and around) AI - leveraging it where it accelerates, thinking creatively where it doesn’t
You Bring: We care about mindset as much as skillset. You are:
- A strong full-stack or backend engineer (at least 3 years’ experience)
- Strong Next.js / TypeScript, Good knowledge in C#/.NET.
- Experienced with serverless, or containerised applications, Azure is a bonus.
- Driven by a good work ethic and a bias toward delivery
- Comfortable with freedom and autonomy
- Open to learning, experimenting, and failing fast
- A team player who communicates clearly and enjoys collaboration
- Not camera-shy - happy to share progress or demo features
- Based in the UK or Portugal (or nearby time zones)
- Creative, pragmatic, and not overly reliant on AI - you think before you prompt.
