Job Description
The Operational Excellence Coach leads major Lean and cultural transformations across our Food & Beverage, CPG and General Manufacturing customers through the implementation of QAD Redzone software and expert-level coaching. Coaches work within highly autonomous teams led by a Coach Director and deliver Continuous Improvement in plants. This full‑time, exempt, remote role requires 42 weeks of travel per year and must be based in the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coach 5–7 customers concurrently.
  • Train customers on Redzone software workflows during 90‑day on‑site deployments.
  • Facilitate shop‑floor huddles and leadership team Daily Vital Signs meetings.
  • Track performance data and customer uplifts throughout the deployment.
  • Lead process improvement and Kaizen activities for customers.
  • Share feedback with frontline teams and leadership to drive positive behavior change.
  • Facilitate remote weekly customer progress meetings.
  • Identify and celebrate miracle stories and results.
  • Manage project schedules with customers.
  • Provide Success Assessments upon project completion.
  • Deliver executive overviews and share program information.
  • Troubleshoot customer technical issues as needed.
  • Support customers in identifying next steps in their Redzone journey.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Skills

  • Fluent in English and French.
  • Senior operations leadership experience in manufacturing environments.
  • Experience in roles such as Operations Manager, Production Supervisor or Continuous Improvement Manager.
  • Proficiency with Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and driving production results.
  • Strong planning, organization and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent relationship‑building, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good judgment and assessment ability.
  • Time‑management skills in a high‑paced, high‑growth setting.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Tech‑friendly; comfortable discussing networking, wireless and software requirements.
  • Willingness to learn new software.
  • PLC experience desirable, but not required.

Education / Experience

  • Relevant fields: Engineering, Manufacturing, Organizational Leadership/Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Management.
  • Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience in progressive operations/leadership roles.
  • Desired: 2 years in a similar coaching position, but not required.
