We are looking for talented individuals who want to join us on our mission to help solve relevant real‑world problems in manufacturing and the supply chain. We are a virtual first company and your primary work experience will be virtual / working from your home. Occasional travel to a physical office may be required to enhance working relationships, collaboration, design, strategy and alignment.
Perform a range of activities required to enable the client to successfully implement and utilize QAD applications. Typically report to a project manager or senior consultant but do not require daily interaction/direction. Work independently or may lead other consultants on smaller projects. Usually executes activities decided by others without need of supervision. This role is fully remote with the need to travel to client side if needed and located in the UK.
What You’ll Do
- Implement mainly QAD ERP Manufacturing related modules but also other QAD solutions related to ERP like Production Execution or Automated Solutions (data collection automation).
- Work in a global consulting team delivering professional services to global clients.
- Provide services, remotely mainly, though limited traveling can be required especially during certain critical implementation project phases (ex: go‑live support).
- Perform a range of activities required to enable the client to successfully implement and utilize QAD applications.
- Determine detailed activities on a project by project basis. Tasks may include system configuration, training, business process design, testing, gathering requirements for extensions and others as required.
- Frequent and regular communication with clients. Interact with clients and is adept at establishing solid working relationships at several levels.
- Thoughtfully and carefully researches and analyzes problems, articulates the issues, options, advantages and disadvantages and presents resolutions.
- Always responds to and answers client questions: if answer is not known, follows up to get information to client in a timely manner.
- Support to end users during the whole lifecycle of implementation projects but mainly at the most critical phases of the project like CRP, UAT and Go‑Live phase, could be on site.
- May provide direction to others in at least one application or subject area.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree, in Supply Chain, Engineering, Industrial Manufacturing, Business Administration or related discipline.
- Certification in APICS or QAD Products is added value.
- Application knowledge of the most common QAD ERP Manufacturing/Distribution modules, especially in the Core Manufacturing concept, Planning & Scheduling (MRP & MSW/PSW), Discrete & Repetitive Production (Production Orders) MES applications or data collection experience is welcome.
- More than 3 years experience in manufacturing implementations and business consulting with top tier (> $1B revenue) global customers.
- Minimum 2 years of consulting or 5 years of other professional experience.
- Possess strong business process practice, both the body of knowledge and hands‑on experience, with proven track records in leading and managing large project implementations.
- Well versed in developing and/or improving the business process and systems.
- Highly strategic decision making: problem analysis, systematic thinking.
- Knowledge in ERP software solutions, business acumen, consulting skills, customer management, good organization and task facilitator.
- Good in presentation and communication skills to be able to interact, guide, and convince customers about the best possible solution to be implemented.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
- Written documentation is clear, concise, and written to a level appropriate to the audience.
- Delivers presentations to smaller audiences.
- Promptly notifies supervisors of potential issues or problems related to a project.
- Good at time management for working on global projects with time zone differences.
- Flexible to work as per customer time zone.
- Computer skills: Expert in MS Office and/or Google Suite.
- Operate under broad direction from clients or QAD supervisors to determine the tasks and steps necessary to accomplish the objective.
- Work independently and require little support.
- Proactively participate in meetings and discussions and offer advice and guidance.
- Identify potential issues and risks and communicate to the supervisor with suggested paths for resolution.
