About The Role
Summary:
You will lead a team of 5, focused on driving improvements in planning, forecasting, resource optimisation, and operational efficiency within the area of AI. You will provide leadership, coaching, and direction to the team, whilst working with key stakeholders to deliver, solutions, enhance decision-making, and support business growth. You will be is responsible for championing innovation, embedding continuous improvement across tech scheduling team.
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage AI scheduling and resource planning activities, ensuring effective utilisation, development, and deployment of Trainers to meet business demand.
- Oversee the optimisation of Trainer schedules through data driven forecasting, workforce planning, and intelligent resource allocation.
- Lead the planning and provision of appropriate cover for Trainer in demand through predictive scheduling and capacity management.
- Manage and enhance the onboarding process for new AI Trainers, leveraging insights to identify suitable mentors, learning pathways, and development opportunities.
- Lead, coach, and develop the scheduling team, promoting innovation, continuous improvement, and best practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders to support the successful delivery of training and workforce planning objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to automate manual processes, improve data quality, and enhance scheduling efficiency.
- Produce and interpret performance, utilisation, forecasting, and operational reports to provide actionable insights and support decision-making.
Your Experience/Skills:
Must have excellent organisational and planningskills with the ability to prioritise workloads, work methodically, accuratelyand effectively under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude
Key Competencies:
- Scheduling / Planning, organisational background desirable
- Good people management skills are essential and experience of team management required
- Logical thinker who is willing to own and solve problems with the determination to find solutions
