This role ensures the brand captivates the market and our trade partners worldwide through best-in-class point-of-sale materials, razor-sharp retailer support, and commercially driven campaigns.
Your Role: Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you’ll lead the trade marketing strategy, acting as the pivotal bridge between our sales and marketing functions across the UK and global markets.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and execution of trade marketing campaigns to support the sales team, driving visibility, growth, and customer engagement across all channels.
- Develop and own the annual trade marketing plan, tailoring activity by channel, retailer, and market to maximise performance.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager to align the B2B and B2C marketing calendars for seamless campaign activation.
- Work with the creative team to efficiently fulfil retailer and distributor marketing requests, maintaining strong attention to detail and coherence with our brand image and values.
- Deliver impactful brand and NPD activations for retailers, including high-quality training materials, bespoke assets, and in-store or digital content.
- Coordinate and execute trade events, including industry trade shows and retailer activations that elevate brand presence.
- Create clear and actionable trade marketing briefs for the creative team, translating commercial objectives into effective campaign outputs.
- Act as a brand ambassador during key customer meetings alongside the sales team, supporting relationship building and business growth.
- Deliver product education and training for key retailers and distributors, in-person and virtually.
Your Toolbox:
- Trade marketing experience: Proven experience within trade marketing, ideally within beauty, FMCG, or a related consumer goods sector.
- Project management: Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple activations, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Commercial mindset: Experience managing trade budgets, tracking ROI, and reporting on campaign performance.
- Communication: Clear and confident communicator, able to collaborate across sales, marketing, and creative teams, as well as with external partners.
- Briefing skills: Ability to translate commercial objectives into clear, concise, and actionable briefs for the creative team.
