About the role
We currently have a full‑time opportunity for an apprentice to join our busy team in Inverness. This is an ideal entry‑level role for someone looking to start a career in accounts/finance – full training and support will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Become a super user on our CDS system – CODAS – where you will monitor tickets coming into the credit held holding page, analyse the incoming tickets and create, update and maintain customer accounts.
- Act as the first response to incoming queries into the credit control inbox via Microsoft Outlook, triaging and escalating when necessary.
- Speak with customers in a friendly and professional way, including when accounts are overdue or at/over their credit limit.
- Download credit applications, convert them to Adobe PDFs and upload them to CODAS.
- Create payment plans for customers and run weekly reports in Microsoft Excel to check accounts and direct debits are up to date.
- Create and format documents on Microsoft Word.
- Monitor stock levels and reorder essential supplies as required.
