About the role

Farmfoods is a long-running, friendly family business. Their IT team helps keep shops and warehouses running across the UK, and now you could be part of that team.
You don’t need experience. Just curiosity and a willingness to learn. You will be supported all the way!
What you’ll do
- Help team members solve their IT problems
- Fix basic hardware, software and network issues
- Set up and look after devices
- Study for your SCQF Level 8 Digital Technology Apprenticeship
What they need from you
- National 5 Maths & English (C or above)
- Willing to learn and study alongside work
- Right to work in the UK
- Driving licence helpful (not essential)
Working week: 40 hours per week, shift patterns of 7am – 4pm / 8am – 5pm / 9am – 6pm, working 5 days out of 7 (including weekends)

They ensure you settle in, help you develop all the skills you need to be successful in your job role and pass your assessments, and can provide one to one support.
Starting with insights into your current potential, they plan your growth in a programmatic way, close skills gaps with immersive training and ensure what you learn is applicable to what you do. They talk you through the specifics on the qualifications you gain and how they align in particular to your day to day role.
On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 8.
