This role combines first line IT support with a development pathway into Azure cloud technologies, supporting Gerald Edelman's cloud-first efficiency strategy while building foundational technical skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide front line technical support for users on Microsoft 365, standard IT issues and professional services application support (Accounting, Audit, Tax, etc)
  • Assist with basic Azure environment monitoring and maintenance tasks
  • Help manage user accounts and permissions in Azure Active Directory
  • Support basic troubleshooting of cloud-connected applications
  • Assist with hardware setup, configuration, and connectivity issues
  • Document common problems and solutions in the knowledge base
  • Gradually take on increased responsibility for Azure infrastructure tasks
  • Support the implementation of cloud automation initiatives

Entry requirements:
  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject
  • You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme.
  • If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
Working hours: 9am - 5.30pm
