John G Russell have a vacancy within Coatbridge Transport Co Ltd for a Digital HR Apprentice to join their team to assist with the People Team. The apprentice will work towards an SCQF Level 6 Digital Applications Support Programme.
You will support the People Team with a wide range of administrative activities, helping ensure accurate employee records and a positive employee experience. You will be a highly motivated, hardworking individual who is able to work independently when required, as well as contributing, and delivering as part of the People Team, where you will work closely with experienced HR professionals who will support your learning and development in this role.
What's involved?
- Utilising Cascade to support core People Administration activities, including onboarding new starters, processing leavers, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Maintaining and improving additional tracking systems outside of Cascade, demonstrating an innovative approach to ensuring data accuracy, organisation, and confidentiality across personnel files.
- Supporting absence management and payroll activities within Cascade, ensuring deadlines are met and data is processed efficiently and accurately.
- Producing basic HR reports and supporting data analysis, contributing to informed decision-making within the team through Power BI.
- Responding to routine HR queries in a proactive and collaborative manner, ensuring a high standard of service delivery.
- Utilising Microsoft Packages such as Excel and Word to support the team, contributing to continuous improvement and efficiency within HR processes.

Salary: £16,000 - £18,000 per annum
Working week: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 4pm (Inclusive of hour lunch break)

Throughout your apprenticeship you are supported by your skills coach and your account manager. They work with your line manager to ensure you settle in, help you develop all the skills you need to pass your assessments, and can provide one to one support. At the end, as well as the valuable experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification.
Future prospects: You will gain a full-time role upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
