Q+A Planning Ltd is an independent town planning consultancy established in 2017. We work throughout the North West, and across the UK, from our offices in Manchester, Warwick and London. Following a period of rapid growth, we now have an exciting opportunity for a further addition to the team, to be based in our Manchester office.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working Town Planner to help support the development of our business. Ideally you will have between three and five years of experience, and be a member of the RTPI.
We are looking for an individual who:
- Has a positive attitude, good interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn;
- Is able to work well both individually, and as part of a team;
- Can demonstrate skills and experience in development management;
- Can prepare clear and concise reports that accurately summarise complex planning situations, analyse policy and make the case for applications;
- Is keen to build strong, professional and long-lasting relationships with our team and with clients;
- Is organised, can manage time effectively and understands the importance of commercial success;
- Is keen to be an important part of an exciting and growing planning practice.
You will work alongside the directors and senior staff of the practice on a wide variety of projects across the country, including large scale commercial, retail, housing and mixed-use schemes, many of which present challenging and complex planning scenarios. The projects are fast-changing, varied, and interesting.
