Role: Business Development Executive (BDE)/Sales Development Representative (SDR) - Leeds

Contract: Full time, 37.5 hrs per week

Location: Leeds, Hybrid – 3 days in the office & 2 days at home

Package: Competitive base salary with an uncapped commission and incentive-based rewards

We’re looking for a motivated and confident Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team and help connect employers with the power of tech apprenticeship programmes. This is a high‑impact role where you’ll identify new business opportunities, engage senior decision‑makers, and book quality meetings for our Business Development team. If you’re proactive, target‑driven, and love speaking to people—this role is for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation
    • Research and identify potential employer partners in the tech sector
    • Source leads via LinkedIn, job boards, CRM tools, and market research
    • Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified prospects
  • Outreach & Engagement
    • Conduct cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to key decision‑makers
    • Tailor messaging to highlight the impact of tech apprenticeships
    • Follow up promptly on marketing-generated leads
  • Qualifying & Booking Meetings
    • Qualify leads based on tech hiring needs, business size, and apprenticeship readiness
    • Book discovery meetings for Business Development Managers or Account Executives
    • Ensure smooth handovers with clear notes and context
  • Pipeline Management & Reporting
    • Log all activity in Salesforce accurately
    • Track KPIs including calls made, leads qualified, and meetings booked
    • Share weekly updates on progress and pipeline health
  • Collaboration & Improvement
    • Partner with Marketing to align outreach with campaigns
    • Share insights from conversations to improve messaging and offerings
    • Take part in team training and development to keep growing
    • Contribute to monthly and quarterly sales targets

What You’ll Bring
