About The Role
Are you a commercially curious, and experienced in data analysis and stakeholder engagement?
Sitting within the Finance team, this role supports the Head of Commercial with pricing and insight activities.
The Commercial and Insights Analyst is a key role in the Finance team, helping to understand the impact of sales activity and product performance, and how it supports the commercial plan.
- Role Responsibilities
- Ongoing management of the pricing and cost data, that drives colleague systems.
- Management of Excel models used for commercial decisions.
- Review market and competitor data to help identify new opportunities or inform positioning.
- Provide Insights into new product launches, and existing product performance to aid commercial decisions.
- Support senior managers with timely and accurate reporting, including regular and one-off requests, on, but not limited to, vendor performance.
- Support the Head of Commercial with bespoke pricing requests, new product launches and ongoing MI of performance.
- Your Experience/Skills
- Demonstrable strong Excel skills, using advanced formulae.
- Understanding of how pricing, discounting, and margins impact business performance.
- Comfortable building and refining reports Power BI and/or Excel.
- Able to manage multiple requests, prioritise work, and balance day‑to‑day delivery with ongoing improvements.
- Strong senior stakeholder management, with the confidence to appropriately challenge.
- Understand the industry that QA operates in, and the key competitors.
