Are you looking to begin your career in a fast paced and exciting office environment? SW Global are looking to bring on a new apprentice to join their growing and successful team. They have had a lot of success with apprentices in the last years and are looking to replicate this by bringing on another apprentice to grow within the business as well. Many of the apprentices they have taken on across multiple disciplines have progressed within the business so it is an excellent company to grow with.

What will I be doing?

  • Become a super user of Sage, Evertime Payroll and Paycircle to process and maintain payroll data whilst following organisational procedures.
  • First point of contact to respond to payroll enquiries from internal teams and departments. These tickets will come in through the form of a call or an email. You will be responsible for actioning these tickets or escalating them where necessary.
  • Create, update and manage accurate payroll records and documents on Word and Excel whilst maintaining quality and consistency.
  • Use digital tools to support communication and workflow, including Outlook for email and shared information systems such as Sharepoint.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to gather, verify, and clarify payroll-related information, using digital systems to process data accurately and apply best practice in information management on Sage and Everytime Payroll.

  • Desire and willingness to expand on knowledge on internal systems.
  • Ability to work well both individually, and as part of a team.
  • Good timekeeping.
  • A strong work ethic.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Confident in speaking to others.

Salary: £16,500 per annum

Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 9am – 5pm, Friday 9am – 3:45pm
