We are looking for the next generation of apprentices to join our organisation. Our apprenticeships are designed for talented, passionate people who are looking to join an agile world leader and are ready to deliver the best solutions to transform businesses in the new digital world. The IT Analyst Apprentice will focus on operating and maintaining the cloud environments of DXC customers. The main goals are to deliver agile and secure managed services on cloud platforms, to continuously increase the level of automation and security, to ensure high availability of the service, and to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.
Duties will include:
- Provide first-line technical support for infrastructure services and applications, assisting with routine user issues and service requests
- Act as a superuser for allocated systems, supporting end users with standard functionality and access
- Assist with monitoring and initial troubleshooting of digital services, escalating issues to senior team where necessary
- Collaborate with team members to support day-to-day operation of infrastructure service needs
- Participate in infrastructure related tasks and projects to gain hands-on experience across multiple technologies and disciplines
- Assist in the maintenance of support documentation and knowledge resources for the team

Salary: Β£18,000 per annum
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm

If successful at the screening stage, candidates will be invited to one of our great assessment days taking place on 4th & 5th March. Successful candidates will start their career with us in October 2026. You must also be able to get to our office location when required (up to 5 days a week). You must be eligible to obtain a certain level of security clearance as we primarily work on secure defence accounts, therefore dual nationals or visa sponsorships are not accepted on our programme.
Future prospects: 90% of QA apprentices secure permanent employment after completing: this is 20% higher than the national average.
