Overview: It is such an exciting time to be part of the organisation as they enter a massive period of growth and aim to add an apprentice to their operations and support team. They offer young people the support, flexibility and expertise to be a success within the facilities management field.
Responsibilities:
- Tech-savvy tasks: Get hands-on with our job booking system, Concept. You will log jobs, raise purchase orders, and become a superuser by the end of your apprenticeship.
- Problem-solving pro: Provide digital support to Accounts Payable using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (ERP financial suite) resolving supplier invoice queries and ensuring the invoicing process runs like clockwork.
- Be the go-to person: You will be the first point of contact for customers and stakeholders at OCS. Managing Microsoft packages, Teams and shared drive to access internal documents and applications. Handling inquiries in person, via email, and on the phone. Your role is crucial in ensuring smooth communication between clients, management, and the supply chain.
- Project powerhouse: Support the project team through estimating and tender processes, helping to deliver maintenance projects across the estate.
- Efficiency expert: Work proactively to reduce the current level and aging of delegated contract's work-in-progress (WIP) and chase supplier invoices to ensure timely invoicing.
Desirable skills:
- PC skills - although these will be taught during your apprenticeship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
Salary: £18,000 per annum.
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am - 4:30pm.
