We are looking for a Digital Learning Specialist Apprentice to join our Learning & Development team. You will help provide digital L&D support for the firm to ensure employees have the skills and tools they need to grow.

What you will be doing:

  • Manage the centralised HM Academy mailbox to pick up any internal training requests that come in from HM staff, triage requests and pass information to L&D Manager where necessary.
  • Support with the onboarding for new joiners to the firm. You will help create induction plans and communicate with line managers on expectations.
  • Communicate with new joiners before and during their 1st week to ensure things are going smoothly.
  • Diarise specific induction events via MS Outlook & Teams calendars.
  • Become a superuser of iManage which you will use to file L&D related emails that can be accessed at a later date if needed.
  • Become a key user of Esme, the ticketing system which L&D requests will go through.
  • Work in collaboration with the L&D team to handle requests.
  • Data entry via MS Excel where you will report and track various things such as induction logs, external training needs, attendance reporting for multiple training programmes.
  • Communicate with suppliers, as well as colleagues across the business both verbally and via MS Outlook.

Skills and qualities:

  • Attention to detail and accuracy when working with data.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and in writing.
  • Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines under pressure.
  • Ability to use initiative and to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Customer service experience preferred.

Salary: £22,932 per annum.

Working week: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm.

Future prospects: Should you perform well in this role, there is an opportunity for you to take up a permanent position at the end of your qualification. Many of our previous apprentices are still with the company. Your future salary will be discussed should you be offered a permanent role.
