We are looking for a First Response team member to work within the First Response team within the Personal Injury & Reparation department. The First Response team is the first point of contact for clients, whether they are an individual, insurer or private company. The team plays an important role in capturing and converting enquiries.
Responsibilities
- 1 st point of contact when answering enquiries from clients and taking statements, triaging where necessary. You will gather information on new claim enquiries referred to by the department and update clients accordingly.
- Make calls to third parties on behalf of the team to gather information and document. Using iManage, you will input data which will be viewed by solicitors. It is important that you follow compliance and log this information accurately.
- Actively managing enquiries from social media platforms using Solcase (a case management system).
- Receive tasks via Bighand with regards to printing/scanning requests department wide.
- Manage own diary via MS Outlook to pre-plan your days.
- Open files (via iManage) so that team can access information.
Skills and knowledge required
- Excellent I.T. and organisational skills including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines under pressure.
- Ability to use initiative.
- Experience in managing tasks/processes.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
Salary:Β£22,932 per annum.
Working week:35 hours per week, Monday to Friday,9am β 5pm.

Future prospects
Should you perform well in this role, there is an opportunity for you to take up a permanent position at the end of your qualification. Many of our previous apprentices are still with the company. Your future salary will be discussed should you be offered a permanent role.
