Glasgow Clyde College is one of the largest further education providers in Scotland with over 500 full-time and part-time courses to choose from and is a multi-site college with campuses in Anniesland, Cardonald and Langside.

Overview:

They are now seeking a motivated and proactive Digital Payroll and Analytics Apprentice to join the team. This position will be based in the college\’s Payroll team; you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process, responding to any payroll tickets and escalating complex tickets to the Payroll Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Becoming an expert user for ITrent, PowerBi, Business Objects and MS Excel to contribute to payroll processing, data management, and process improvement.
  • Assist in the end-to-end procession pf payroll using iTrent, the college payroll system and problem-solving when required.
  • You will become part of the small but dynamic team to work together collaboratively to meet payroll tickets deadlines and support the wider data management responsibilities.
  • You will assist in the collection, analysis and payroll data to build monthly reports using MS Excel and PowerBi for key stakeholders.
  • You will use PowerBI to manage datasets, clean data, build reports and manage dashboards.
  • Prepare and present reports, identifying trends or anomalies in payroll and operational data.

Salary: Β£23,992 per annum.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 4:45pm.
