At McCrae Training, we’re on the lookout for a bright, motivated individual to join our dynamic team as a Digital Operations Apprentice. This is your chance to get stuck into the fast-moving world of digital operations—gaining hands-on experience while working towards a nationally recognised qualification!
You will be registering and awarding candidates using SQA Connect and managing and invigilating their exams using SQA Solar/Surpass which are some of our many Awarding Organisation delivery platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Working collaboratively to support sales team, delivery staff and learners alike.
- Problem solving to respond and close all support tickets or escalating when required.
- Becoming the business’s systems expert for Monday.com to support with task management and report creation.
- Utilise Dante Delegate Planner CRM to access, manage, and maintain up-to-date delegate information, supporting a data-driven approach to learner management.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients using Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams, ensuring timely and professional correspondence.
- Collaborate using Microsoft SharePoint to securely access, share and co-edit company documents in a cloud-based environment.
- Using EUSR Quartzweb and XAMS systems for classroom based courses and e-assessments.
- Utilising CITB systems including CITB ITC and CITB SSP for courses and online testing for delegates.
- Composing weekly reports to be sent to the Management Team.

- High attention to detail with strong organisational and timekeeping abilities.
- Capable of working independently, using initiative, and managing workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Committed to completing tasks accurately, on time, and to required standards.
- Willing to learn and contribute to continuous improvement within a small business environment.
Working hours: 35 hrs per week, Monday to Friday, 8am – 3:30pm, with 30 minute lunch break.
Salary:£16,500 – £18,200 per annum, depending on experience.
