Overview: We are seeking a motivated and IT-literate individual to join our team as a Finance Apprentice. This role is ideal for someone with a keen interest in pursuing a career in finance. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, receive mentorship, and work towards professional qualifications. Main Responsibilities: Includes data entry, filing, and document management. Support the adviser team with reports, application and data entry using a variety of internal CRM systems. Become a systems expert by utilise IT systems and software to manage financial data and generate reports such as EXCEL. Using collaborative tech such as Microsoft teams/sharepoint/Outlook for communication and calendar management. Data Analysis, Finance modelling and reporting using EXCEL. Being first response by communicating effectively with team members and clients to provide excellent customer service. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities. Prepare for and sit professional finance exams as part of career progression. Skills and attributes: Strong IT literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Excellent organisational and administrative skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude. Interest in pursuing a career in finance and willingness to undertake professional exams. Salary: £14,000 per annum — with the potential for an increase upon passing a professional exam to demonstrate ability / capacity for learning. Working hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm.
