Overview:

\\n

There is an opening with Edinburgh's File Management team for a new apprentice. This is an area of the firm where numerous apprentices have started off their career at Harper Macleod, so you are in safe hands.

What does the role look like?

\\n

    \\n
  • First point of contact for different departments within Harper Macleod. You will manage ticket requests made by staff and Partners.
  • \\n

  • Become a key user of Worksite (document and email management software) where you will create files and manage documents as per ticket requests made.
  • \\n

  • Collaborate with file management team on files via Worksite.
  • \\n

  • Indexing and storage of old files as per GDPR.
  • \\n

  • Become a system expert on Lawsoft, which is an internal CRM system. You will use Lawsoft to search and maintain client details.
  • \\n

  • Creating reports on file management progress via MS Word and sharing via colleagues via MS Outlook.
  • \\n

Salary: £22,932 per annum.

Working week: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm.

Future prospects:
Should you perform well in this role, there is an opportunity for you to take up a permanent position at the end of your qualification. Many of our previous apprentices are still with the company. Your future salary will be discussed should you be offered a permanent role.
