Many of our clients are referred on from other professional firms who appreciate the skills we must provide integrated solutions for clients, which is particularly important in relation to our clients who have UK and US taxes to consider. We are therefore virtually unique regarding this in Scotland and have acknowledged expertise in this area through one of our directors.

Overview:
We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice in a predominately client facing role. The role offers a genuine commitment to a proper work/life balance and every Friday afternoon off.

Responsibilities:

- \\n
- You will become a key member of staff, working collaboratively across our network including corresponding with HMRC and other external parties. Actions will include processing standard requests, problem solving to investigate client issues, as well as reviewing process functionality.
- You will become an expert user in Capium our system used for almost all daily tasks. You will have an advanced level of access to process equipment orders, provide information requests, and investigate issues and queries.
- You will become the first point of contact to support others in the organisation when preparing UK Tax returns, understanding specific features of these systems and how to use them for maintaining and updating workflows, finance requirements and new client onboarding.
- With full training and support you will become a super user, you will build your knowledge to an expert level of knowledge which you will be required to share with other end users across the organisation. You will learn to be responsible for the introduction of new systems as and when required.
- You will be proficient in all the Microsoft Office Suite. Using this suite, you will contribute to reporting for importing and exporting, data collection and generating client specific reports and invoicing.

35 hours per week,
Monday – Thursday, 9am – 5pm, and Friday will be 9am – 2pm.
