On campus at Solent University, Southampton. Sessional Daytime Teaching up to 10 hours per week (Monday–Friday). Are you an experienced lecturer in Computer Science, seeking a flexible and rewarding contract? If so, we have an exciting opportunity at QAHE Solent Pathway College, located on the Solent University campus in Southampton. Our mission is to deliver a high-quality student experience that drives academic success. To achieve this, we are looking for a passionate and skilled lecturer to teach a range of Computer Science modules (Web technologies, UX and Networks & Security) at Levels 3 and 4. You’ll play a vital role in helping international students develop the confidence and academic skills they need to successfully progress to their university studies.

A little more about the role:

  • Deliver engaging small classes and seminars for Level 4 international higher education students.
  • Ensure that teaching content aligns with module expectations and the overall programme of study.
  • Assess student work against appropriate academic benchmarks within set timeframes.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A master’s degree or equivalent qualification, ideally in a relevant subject area.
  • A relevant teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS, BEd, PGCert, MA TESOL, or DELTA (essential).
  • HEA Fellowship (preferred).
  • Experience teaching international students at Levels 3 and 4 (preferred), or a strong interest in supporting learners transitioning to Levels 4 and 5.
  • Vital subject knowledge in: UX, Network & Security and Web Technologies.
