525 Accountancy Services Ltd are a leading firm of accountants based in the city centre of Glasgow, with a wide reach of clients firmly based upon referrals and reputation. Our approach is proactive and very much hands on and we firmly believe that this is critical in providing a first class service to our clients.
We are looking for a proactive Accounts Support Apprentice to join our team. The role will involve working closely with the wider accounts team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with full training provided whilst gaining a QA SCQF Level 6 Apprenticeship in Digital Applications Support.
Responsibilities:
- Become systems expert in Xero to assist the Finance Manager
- Act as the first point of contact for manual and computerised bookkeeping activities
- Prepare files for accountants using QuickBooks and Sage as our main systems
- Work with Excel spreadsheets
- Provide administrative support within the office as required
- Ensure client files are kept up to date using Microsoft Office suite and company systems
- Handle client information daily via the company CRM QuickBooks
- Collaborate with the Finance Manager and accounts team to maintain accurate financial records
Required skills:
- Fluency in Microsoft Office
- Detail-oriented with a strong willingness to learn
- Prior experience with Excel is a plus, but not essential as training will be provided
Salary: £16,500 per annum
Working hours: 9am – 5pm
