What You’ll Be Doing

  • Teaching will include daytime, some evening & weekend sessions.
  • Deliver engaging, high‑quality teaching across core psychology subjects aligned to BPS GBC requirements.
  • Design and develop innovative, future‑focused curriculum content.
  • Support students to achieve academic success and thrive personally.
  • Assess and provide timely, impactful feedback to enhance learning.
  • Contribute to research and scholarly activity within the department.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain excellence in teaching and quality assurance.
  • Play an active role in BPS accreditation and continuous programme improvement.

About You

Your Experience

  • Teaching psychology in higher education, ideally across BPS‑aligned modules.
  • Designing and delivering curriculum to professional standards.
  • Research experience or clear potential to contribute academically.

Your Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of BPS accreditation and GBC curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills.
  • Passion for delivering an inclusive, engaging learning experience.
  • Commitment to student success and continuous improvement.

Your Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Psychology (PhD desirable).
  • Eligibility for Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) with the BPS (essential).
