About The Role

Sessional Graduate Tutor – Project Management & Computing at QA Higher Education, in partnership with Northumbria University London.

Location: London (On-campus)

Contract: Sessional / Hourly-paid

QA Higher Education (QAHE) is looking for enthusiastic and motivated Sessional Graduate Tutors to support teaching across Project Management & Computing programmes. This is a fantastic opportunity for recent postgraduates or early-career academics who want to gain hands-on teaching experience, support student success and build a career in higher education.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Support practical, workshop and lab-based teaching across Project Management and Computing modules.
  • Plan and prepare engaging learning activities and resources.
  • Deliver academic and pastoral support through tutorials and 1-to-1 guidance.
  • Act as a key point of contact for students, signposting to wider support services.
  • Monitor student progress and provide advice on study skills, digital literacy and academic practice.
  • Work closely with academic colleagues to support student progression.
  • Contribute to programme development and a positive student learning experience.

What you’ll bring:

  • Master’s degree (or close to completion) in Project Management, Computing or a related discipline.
  • Willingness to pursue doctoral education.
  • Strong subject knowledge and confidence supporting experiential learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with diverse, international student cohorts.

Desirable:

  • Experience tutoring or teaching in higher education.
  • Experience with workshops, simulations or lab-based delivery.
  • Interest in pursuing HEA Fellowship or a longer-term academic career.
