About The Role

Careers Advisor – Make a Real Impact on Student Futures! QA Higher Education, London, 4 days per week on campus

Are you passionate about helping students shape their future? Join QA Higher Education (QAHE) as a Careers Advisor and play a vital role in guiding undergraduates and postgraduates toward successful careers. The focus for our Careers Advisor role is to enhance our graduate outcomes and student experience.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver tailored 1:1 career guidance and dynamic workshops to empower students.
  • Help undergraduate and postgraduate students achieve their career and employability goals, enabling them to make informed decisions about their future.
  • Develop and maintain a good knowledge of the graduate labour market and key employability trends in different industries, so you can best support students and graduates.
  • Advertise and promote opportunities available to students in relation to employers and employability incl. voluntary, work experience, graduate jobs etc. via monthly newsletter, targeted emails etc.
  • Stay ahead of graduate labour market trends to provide informed advice.
  • Collaborate across departments to enhance the student experience.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in careers guidance or employability support.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and a creative approach to engagement.
  • Ability to manage projects and work independently.
  • Passion for working with students.
  • Experience working with international students would be a bonus but is not essential.
  • A professional qualification in Careers Guidance (or relevant experience) is desirable.
