As our Learning and Development Manager, you will be focused on enhancing employee skills and knowledge through various training programs from entry to senior management level. Designing, implementing, and managing programs to improve organisational performance. Our role requires a blend of strategic thinking, to be well versed in leadership & management skills, project management, and strong communication skills.

Working with subject matter experts, you will have the experience to develop a full training solution to meet our business needs. Here’s a little of what you’ll be doing:

  • Develop and implement a learning strategy and programmes that are aligned with QAHE’s organisational objectives.
  • Maintain a full understanding of the various teams and business areas organisational wide.
  • Work with senior business leaders to ensure they are using our performance management systems, and they remain focused on day-to-day employee development.
  • Track and control L and D expenditure, building cost efficient relationships and contracts with external suppliers.
  • Design and produce quality fit-for purpose training materials.
  • Act as the principle point of contact for all L and D related enquiries.
  • Ensure legislative compliance.
  • Support the growth of the business through ensuring an effective talent development pipeline.

Bring Your Experience And Qualifications:

  • Experienced with the management of online learning portals.
  • Have proven experience and success in the delivery of both online and in person base management skills training and development.
  • Adapt at assessing and prioritising workload.
  • Experienced in working with a wide-ranging employee base.
  • Knowledge of the Higher Education sector would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge and experience working with Learner Management Systems.
  • Ability to assess and implement the optimum pedagogy with regard for the content, desired result and learner.
  • Undergraduate degree – preferably in Business or Psychology or equivalent professional qualification.
