About the role: We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills, knowledge and experience as you complete a Level 3 Azure Cloud Support Specialist programme. You will work with public and private cloud services, large enterprise wired and wireless network infrastructures through to end user troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line IT support to end users via phone, email and ticketing systems
- Log, update and manage support tickets in line with agreed SLAs
- Troubleshoot hardware, software and Microsoft 365 issues
- Support users with password resets, account administration and access requests
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers where required
- Assist with device setup, configuration and deployment
- Support Microsoft Windows desktop and laptop environments
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain regular communication with users
- Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles
- Participate in training and development activities as part of the Level 3 IT apprenticeship
We are looking for someone that has:
- The ability to work individually and as part of a team, potentially covering extending working hours
- Desire to learn new technologies, develop advanced networking skills and share them across the team
- Strong desire and knowledge to work within an internet service provider industry and in a close-knit team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Previous IT related work experience
The entry requirements for this programme are as follows:
- 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
- Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, 9am to 5:30pm
