Role Summary: Were looking for a curious committed Apprentice Software Developer to join our growing tech team. Youll be working on agile projects that involve building and supporting custom integrationsespecially between cloud accounting systems (like Xero) and ecommerce platforms (like Shopify and Amazon)using APIs. Youll gain handson experience using TypeScript and JavaScript especially within environments. Alongside your learning youll be contributing to real client projects and developing clean reliable code that solves realworld business problems. Salary 17000 to 20000 per annum DOE Key Role Responsibilities: Supporting the development of integrations between cloud systems using RESTful APIs Writing and testing code in TypeScript and JavaScript () Collaborating in agile sprintsdaily standups planning and retros Debugging and troubleshooting issues in live environments Learning from experienced developers and contributing to technical discussions Documenting code and development processes clearly and concisely Personal Profile: As an apprentice for Outserve we look for those who can demonstrate the following: A genuine interest in software development and problemsolving Some exposure to coding even if selftaught! Curiosity about cloud systems ecommerce platforms and automation Good communication skills and a team mindset Willingness to learn ask questions and share ideas Organised reliable and able to manage your time effectively Nice to Have (But Not Essential) Any experience with APIs Git or Familiarity with tools like Postman or VS Code Awareness of platforms like Xero Shopify or WooCommerce Entry Requirements: The learner must have completed a Level 3 Software Development Apprenticeship with QA or have an equivalent qualification with another training provider OR an Alevel in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) subject and a successful completion of our aptitude test OR a BTEC Diploma in IT and a successful completion of our aptitude test OR 2 years experience in a relevant role and successful completion of our aptitude test You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme. If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
