This is an excellent opportunity for a confident individual to take the first step in their career and join the finance team at Levy & McRae, a leading Scottish specialist litigation law firm. Levy & McRae specialise in getting results for their clients. They bring their extensive expertise to assist clients to resolve a wide range of the most challenging, demanding and complex cases.

The successful candidate will quickly pick up the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in this role and will become a valued member of the team while completing an SCQF Level 6 Apprenticeship. Interested? Apply today!

In this role your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Become 1st point of contact for finance matters within the firm.
  • Process financial transactions and payments via ALB and Online Banking system. Throughout your apprenticeship you will use ALB for various activities such as invoicing and management of purchase ledger. By the end of your apprenticeship you will be an expert user.
  • Assist with credit control activities using MS Excel to monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts.
  • Support month-end procedures and reporting.
  • Contribute to matter opening procedures in collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Handle daily banking tasks with accuracy and confidentiality.

Salary: £23,000 per annum.

Working week: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm.
