Location: London-based; hybrid and client-locations as well.

There are three core focus areas for this role:

  • Practice Development: Define and lead Q5's team effectiveness and coaching strategy, including the proposition and go-to-market approach, ensuring alignment with key market trends and client needs to deliver a differentiated offering for Q5. Develop a compelling thought leadership perspective, articulating Q5's unique approach to team development and individual development through coaching. Continuously evolve Q5's team effectiveness and coaching offering, capturing key insights from client engagements to enhance methodologies, frameworks, and tools. Establish and manage a robust ecosystem of strategic partners (e.g., experts in coaching and team effectiveness, coaching providers, coaching technology providers) to enhance and complement Q5's capabilities. Act as a visible industry thought leader, representing Q5 in external forums, conferences, and publications to enhance credibility and market presence. Mentor and support a team of Q5ers to achieve set priorities, ensuring clear accountabilities and progress tracking.
  • Business Development: Develop and execute a business development strategy for Q5's team effectiveness practice, identifying target client segments. Lead the architecting of compelling proposals and support Q5 colleagues to develop proposal capability, translating customer needs into holistic, high-impact leadership interventions and programs aligned with business goals and organizational context. Actively engage in industry networks, conferences, and thought leadership initiatives to elevate Q5's market presence and credibility in team effectiveness. Build and nurture senior client relationships, positioning Q5 as a trusted, long-term strategic partner in team development. Collaborate with sector leads and offering leads to identify new client opportunities and expand existing accounts by integrating team effectiveness into broader business performance and growth solutions.
  • Project/Client Account Leadership and Delivery: Lead the design and delivery of high-quality, customized team effectiveness and coaching interventions, ensuring they exceed client expectations, drive measurable impact, and align with business objectives. Establish and grow recurring account revenue. Mentor, coach, and lead project teams, setting clear objectives, roles, and responsibilities while fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture. Support their professional development, performance, and well-being. Leverage data-driven insights and client feedback to assess and enhance the effectiveness of interventions, continuously refining offerings and demonstrating measurable ROI. Ensure operational and commercial excellence in project execution, optimizing resource allocation, managing timelines and budgets, and proactively mitigating risks.

Requirements: 10+ years proven experience in coaching and team coaching; experience developing and commercialising talent development and/or coaching products within a consulting environment. Demonstrated success in driving go-to-market strategies, leading business development, growing client accounts, and designing initiatives across diverse sectors, customizing solutions to meet specific client needs. Strong business acumen, confidently linking clients' strategic priorities to team and individual performance. Proven expertise in designing and delivering high-impact leadership and team development interventions for diverse audiences.

Certifications: Relevant certifications in executive and team coaching (e.g., ICF ACC+, EMCC) are required.

Knowledge: Deep understanding of coaching principles, methodologies, and tools; thought leadership in personal and team change; fluency with leadership assessment tools and psychometrics.

Skills: Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, leadership presence, client and account management, consultative sales, commercial acumen, data literacy for analytics, measuring effectiveness, tracking ROI, and driving continuous improvement.

Education: A degree in occupational or organisational psychology, business, or organisational development is beneficial.
