Our Consultants are adept at supporting our teams and projects to deliver great outcomes for our clients. Whilst our projects are varied, there are three core focus areas that we use when thinking about consulting at Q5:

Business Development
- You will get involved in developing and proof-reading proposals, as well as carrying out research into potential clients.
- You will be invaluable to your client and deliver quality deliverables.
- You will begin to think about nurturing your own network, connecting with contacts both inside and outside of Q5.
Project Delivery
- You will proactively manage the administration related to project delivery, for example, ensuring that workshop logistics set up is managed from start to end.
- You will take the information from consulting interventions e.g. client interviews or workshops, and produce high quality client deliverables at pace.
- You will work with the Project Lead and team in planning projects.
- You will think critically about the visualisation and interpretation of consulting interventions e.g., workshops or client interviews.
Practice Management/Personal Development
- You will get involved in building the “practice”, whether that be supporting a sector or service, supporting our wellbeing initiatives and our Foundation work, or supporting the onboarding of new joiners as part of our Buddy system.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- 12 – 24 months demonstrable experience working in another Management Consulting organisation.
- Demonstrable proficiency in the MS Office suite, primarily Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good understanding of Office 365 with the ability to support best practice on projects using SharePoint and Teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Intellectual curiosity, be able to learn as you go, and problem solve the challenges you come across.
- An ability to work independently and to demonstrate initiative and commitment to assigned projects.
Ideally you will also have
- A good understanding of other project delivery tools e.g. Menti, Mural.
