Key Duties and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a positive, energetic and reliable Lunchtime Engagement Leader to join our academy team. This is an incredible opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to play an important role in creating a safe, enjoyable and engaging lunchtime experience for our students.

The successful candidate will help supervise students during lunch periods while encouraging participation in activities, promoting positive behaviour and supporting the academy's values.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise students during lunchtime in outdoor spaces and designated activity zones.
• Promote positive behaviour and high expectations in line with academy policies.
• Encourage students to participate in organised games, clubs and enrichment activities.
• Build positive relationships with students and support their wellbeing.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and orderly environment.
• Support the smooth movement of students between lunch and afternoon lessons.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

• Enjoys working with children and young people.
• Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Can remain calm, approachable and professional.
• Is confident supervising groups of students.
• Is able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Shares our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential. We welcome applications from individuals who are enthusiastic, dependable and keen to make a positive difference to students' school experience.

Pay range:

Grade 2, SP3-4, £7145-7258 (pro rata)
