The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of residential rental properties, working closely with landlords, tenants, contractors and suppliers to ensure properties are well maintained, compliant and managed to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of residential rental properties
- Act as the main point of contact for landlords and tenants
- Manage tenant move-ins, checkouts, inventories and tenancy renewals
- Coordinate property repairs and maintenance with contractors and suppliers
- Arrange and carry out property inspections
- Identify maintenance, repair and health and safety issues
- Ensure properties meet current lettings legislation and compliance requirements
- Monitor landlord compliance, including gas safety, electrical safety, EPCs and other required certificates
- Monitor rental payments and follow up rent arrears where required
- Provide landlords with regular updates regarding maintenance, compliance and property performance
- Deal with tenant and landlord queries promptly and professionally
- Manage end-of-tenancy processes, including accounts and deposit matters
- Assist with deposit disputes where required
- Maintain accurate property, tenancy and compliance records
- Liaise with contractors and suppliers to ensure repairs are completed efficiently
- Work closely with the wider lettings and property management team
- Provide a high level of customer service to landlords and tenants
