Job Description
We are recruiting for an experienced Property Manager to join an established residential lettings and property management team in Newcastle upon Tyne (NE7).

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and experienced property professional with at least 1 year of residential property management or lettings experience.
/n
The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of residential rental properties, working closely with landlords, tenants, contractors and suppliers to ensure properties are well maintained, compliant and managed to a high standard.
/n
Key Responsibilities
/n
/n
- Manage a portfolio of residential rental properties
/n
- Act as the main point of contact for landlords and tenants
/n
- Manage tenant move-ins, checkouts, inventories and tenancy renewals
/n
- Coordinate property repairs and maintenance with contractors and suppliers
/n
- Arrange and carry out property inspections
/n
- Identify maintenance, repair and health and safety issues
/n
- Ensure properties meet current lettings legislation and compliance requirements
/n
- Monitor landlord compliance, including gas safety, electrical safety, EPCs and other required certificates
/n
- Monitor rental payments and follow up rent arrears where required
/n
- Provide landlords with regular updates regarding maintenance, compliance and property performance
/n
- Deal with tenant and landlord queries promptly and professionally
/n
- Manage end-of-tenancy processes, including accounts and deposit matters
/n
- Assist with deposit disputes where required
/n
- Maintain accurate property, tenancy and compliance records
/n
- Liaise with contractors and suppliers to ensure repairs are completed efficiently
/n
- Work closely with the wider lettings and property management team
/n
- Provide a high level of customer service to landlords and tenants
/n

About You
/n
We are looking for an organised, proactive and personable Property Manager who has previous experience within residential property management or lettings.
/n
You will ideally have:
/n
/n
- At least 1 year of residential property management or lettings experience
/n
- Good knowledge of residential lettings and property management processes
/n
- An understanding of current lettings legislation and property compliance requirements
/n
- Experience dealing with landlords, tenants, contractors and suppliers
/n
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
/n
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
/n
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
/n
- Good IT skills and experience using property management software
/n
- The ability to manage multiple properties and priorities effectively
/n
- A professional and proactive approach to customer service
/n
- A full UK driving licence and access to a car
/n

Salary and Benefits
/n
/n
- £27,000 – £29,000 per annum, depending on experience
/n
- Bonus scheme providing a realistic OTE of £33,800 per annum
/n
