The Opportunity
Based in Billingham, this is primarily an office-based Property Manager role where you’ll work alongside an experienced and supportive team who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. You’ll be responsible for managing a residential property portfolio, building strong relationships with landlords and tenants, and ensuring all properties remain fully compliant throughout the tenancy lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Progress tenant applications from offer through to move-in
- Prepare tenancy agreements and associated legal documentation
- Manage tenancy renewals and negotiations
- Coordinate compliance and safety certification renewals including Gas Safety, EICR and EPCs
- Handle maintenance issues efficiently from initial report to resolution
- Liaise daily with landlords, tenants, and contractors
- Ensure all lettings compliance and documentation is accurate and up to date
- Deliver outstanding customer service at every stage
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 6 months’ experience within lettings or property management
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, proactive, and solution-focused approach
- Knowledge of lettings legislation is beneficial, but training will be provided
Salary & Benefits
- £24,000 - £26,000 basic salary depending on experience
- Commission on lettings fees
- OTE £28,000 - £30,000 pa
